Does anyone remember an animated PSA or commercial for Polio about a little boy who played and then fell one day. The commercial goes on where the boy falls again, and again until he can no longer get stand up and is bed ridden. My guess is it is from the early to mid 60's.
Once in awhile these old commercials get stuck in my head and I try to find them. any help would be appreciated.

"...these old commercials get stuck in my head ..."

Oh, how I hear ya.

Your description reminds me of one i saw in about that time frame. Not animated per se, but with a marionette; his strings were repeatedly attacked by scissors symbolizing (I guess) loss of limb function. Could it be the same one?
